Tyler Dubetz, P.Eng., MSc. Product Development Manager
Tyler obtained his MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has a wealth of experience in product development. With a goal of improving the quality of life of people, he has found his calling in the biomedical world. Through his experience in other medical device start-ups, Tyler possesses the knowledge and skills needed to develop a device from concept to completion through to regulatory approval. His guiding principles are to design elegantly simple products and solutions such that the end-users’ needs are met in a reliable and straightforward manner, while also reducing product costs by focusing on design for manufacture and assembly.
Tyler thrives when given a challenge and is particularly suited to the fast-paced start-up environment MACH32 provides where he can utilize his unique expertise in all areas of the full product lifecycle. He is very well rounded, approachable, and adaptable making him a great team leader and an integral member of our team.
In Tyler’s free time he likes to stay active playing hockey and biking, travelling with his wife, and building guitars.
